Titanium Uses in Jewellery Making - Titanium 6.4 known as Aircraft Grade is the grade most used in the jewellery making industry. The extra hard grade known as 6.6.2 is very difficult to work with but it is often used to make tension set rings with precious stones. Both grades are much harder than precious metals such as gold and platinum making them more durable and resistant to denting, bending and scratching.
